There is everything you’ll need to have a short term stay. Fully equipped kitchen, TV, DVD, wireless internet, laundry facilitates, air conditioning, bed linen & towels and much more. There is also a large, private deck to eat al fresco or take an evening cocktail.

The area surrounding the apartment

The area is called “Le Village”, a part of the downtown district of Ville Marie or central Montreal. While the office towers of the financial district and Mc Gill University are only a few metro stops away, le village has, as the name suggests, a village feel, offering an impressive kaleidoscope of life with its eclectic mix of influences and diversity of inhabitants.
Le Village is first Bohemian, with its antique stores and galleries lining an extensive part of Amherst street. Then it is designer, with fashion stores mixed comfortably alongside the local Boulangerie (bakery), Italian Deli, many cafés and local grocery stores. Le Village is entertainment, offering an extensive variety of restaurants. 5 star French cuisine, to Mexican, Sushi, Italian, Vietnamese, Thai, Moroccan, Indian, and casual bistro dining too. Le Village is about people, as the only neighbourhood selected by the city of Montreal to become the first fully pedestrian main street, with at least 10 blocks of the village core returned to the people for walking, strolling, shopping, eating, all car free, all summer long. Le Village is festival, with the summer long International Montreal Fireworks Competition - Wednesdays and Saturdays - best viewed by the water-front edge of the village. July brings 300 artists to the village streets for the International Open-Air Arts Festival. This is a bi-lingual local neighbourhood where you hear French and English mixed freely, and the mix is made all the more diverse with the University of Quebec at Montreal (UQAM), Montreal’s media industry, and a concentration of Montreal’s gay community all calling this neighbourhood home.
